Storefront and shop-floor software for off-road and aftermarket vehicle parts
Customers shop by the vehicle they drive. Some parts sit on the shelf, some are built when ordered, and some ship as DIY kits. Kaniva runs the store and the shop behind it.

When another tool is the better choice
If you need a year/make/model dropdown, a saved garage or ACES and PIES fitment data, a platform built around fitment data is the better choice today. Kaniva shows fitment by vehicle category.
Questions
Does Kaniva have a year/make/model picker?
Not as a dropdown. Each vehicle is a category you choose in the Trailhead theme, named like "Jeep Cherokee XJ 84-01". The store shows those vehicles as tiles and in the menus with a part count, and shows a Fits line on each product filed under them.
Can one part fit several vehicles?
Yes. File the product under each vehicle's category and it shows on every one, with all of them on its Fits line.
Can I sell some parts from stock and build others to order?
Yes. Each product is stocked or built to order, and build-to-order products show their lead time before the customer buys.
Can I sell DIY kits?
Yes. A kit is a product with a bill of materials, so building or packing it uses the parts in stock.
Can I sell at shows and events?
Yes. The POS sells from the same catalogue and stock as the web store.
