When another tool is the better choice

If you schedule many machines with capacity planning and route-based job costing, a full ERP is the better choice. If you sell only to a few business customers by purchase order, you may not need a storefront at all.

Questions

Do customers see a lead time before they order?

Yes. Set a lead time per product and the storefront shows the estimated completion date before checkout.

Can a web order start a work order?

Yes. The work order uses the product's bill of materials and takes the components from stock when it completes.

Can I take custom jobs with drawings?

Yes. Customers upload DXF, DWG, STEP or STL files at checkout, or ask for a quote first.

Is manufacturing an extra charge?

No. Manufacturing is included on every plan.
